Jumah Lecture by Sh Sa’dullah Khan 1 March 2019 – Claremont Masjid
Shaykh Sa’dullah Khan has called on South Africans never to forget national struggle heroes like Imam Abdullah Haron, Steve Biko, Robert Sobukwe and all those who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for liberation.
Presenting the jumu’ah (weekly Friday sermon) at the Claremont Main Rd Mosque on 1 March, Shaykh Khan said Sobukwe, whom he called, “a true African”, was far more inspirational than those who sought to undermine him.
“How many of our children know Imam Haron? People who give their lives for the wellbeing and the rights of others are never defeated, they are never ever conquered,” he said.
