Delivering the pre-khutbah talk at Claremont Main Rd Mosque on 28 September 2018, Farid Sayed, editor of Muslim Views said for Imam Haron there was no dichotomy between the spiritual and the political.

Sayed went on to highlight the multi-dimensional character of Imam Haron who placed great emphasis on developing and empowering the youth within the community.
